Updated List

I made a few changes to my list – a couple of additions, one possible subtraction.

I also tried to create a reading order based on a couple of different criteria:

• vary the eras of fantasy somewhat
• vary the word counts
• try and avoid tonal repetition

So the new order (with additions and, I suppose, subject to change is)

1. A Wizard of Earthsea
2. The Lies of Locke Lamora
3. Uprooted
4. The Name of the Wind
5. Empire of Sand
6. In the Shadow of Lightning
7. The Curse of Chalion
8. Sword of Shannara

So we’re already well in to Locke Lamora. Expect a response to that one soon.
